B.O.D Futsal Match

Who knew we could futsal?
Even during the school year-end holidays, the B.O.D Of the Interact Club Of St.John's Institution got down and sweaty with projects of all sorts under the Interact Banner. This time it was a futsal match under the organization of Club Service Director, Oscar Lim. This was held to firstly make use of the spare time we had, to promote healthy living, to further improve the ties in the committee itself and too have a great laugh at all those we claimed they were bad footballers or in this case futsallers?

So on the 21st of November, we made our way to Ampang Sports Planet where a futsal court was booked from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. About 14 Interactors turned up including the B.O.D.

As a summary of that event, we played 4 matches with our I.U. Director Young Ming Wei emerging as the B.O.D's top scorer with more than 5 goals! The others also took the opportunity to boast off their skillful talent of ball-handling but not so much on passing eh?

Nevertheless, it was a fun event that proved successful as everyone enjoyed it. Credit goes to Oscar Lim and Jonathan Oon for putting together the event. Some even suggested to make this an Inter-BOD event where B.O.D's from other schools get invited for futsal as you promote good health as well as a friendly competition. We ended the event with lunch in a Japanese Restaurant called 'Octopus' in Ampang Point.
