Deepavali Celebration!

On the 26th of October, the members of Interact Club of St. John Institution volunteered in helping out the Deepavali Celebration which was sponsored by Tan Sri Dato Dr. L.Krishnan.

This celebration is held every year during the Deepavali holidays at our very own school, St. John's Institution. The purpose of this event is to bring happiness to the old folks, specially gifted people and orphans as well. During the event, Interactors helped by arranging the seats, ushering the guests to their seat, handing out foods and drinks and also cleaning up the venue after the event has ended.

As the saying goes, pictures speaks a thousand words, these are the pictures taken during the event:

As the Incoming President of SJI's Interact Club, I would like to voice out our gratitude to the organizers for giving us the chance to gain experience that would probably occur only once in a lifetime.

And also, I would like to personally thank Marcus, for being there to guide and help us when in need. Although it was tiring and all, we still managed to have fun during the preparation for this event. =)
